Bride’s mother wants groomsmen shave their faces for wedding day

While there happens to be a lot of demands from both sides in a marriage, a bride’s mother has been asking that all the men in the wedding should come clean shaved. Well, it might look normal for the mother of the bride, groomsmen have been worried about the same episode as they like to keep their looks with the beard itself. Apparently, an anonymous groomsman has posted about the same incident where he compared shaving the face to cutting the hair from the head of a woman. Perhaps, to which the bride’s mother didn’t agree and claimed that shaving hair of the head is entirely different and can’t be compared with the beard.

The groomsman wrote on Reddit, “[The groomsmen] all have beards but 4 out of 5 of us are bald through genetics. My beard is part of my style and it’s the only hair that I can grow so I am proud of it. “I told them that I would shave my beard if she shaved her head because after all, it’s ‘just hair.”

He further explained that her reaction to the same was peculiar as she claimed that cutting the hair is different.

However, many Reddit users supported his stance against shaving his own personal beard. One user wrote, “As long as the beard is groomed (clean and tidy) what does it matter? And the bride [is] chill with it! [Her mother] needs to butt out.”

While another wrote, “I can understand wanting it neat, but asking to shave is rude. Some guys look better with the facial fair.”
