Well, almost every airline these days has been facing issues due to various unruly passengers. Since the novel pandemic has taken a toll over normal life, passengers have revolted against the mask-wearing policy of airlines, face shields, and even sanitizing themselves have been a problem for some. Perhaps, one of the passengers who was traveling with Hawaiian Airlines had created tension among other passengers and flight attendants as he tried to open the exit door.
According to the reports, the incident had taken place between Los Angeles and Honolulu and the passenger who tried to open the door was arrested upon the arrival of the flight. As per the airlines’ statement, as soon as the person tried to open the exit door, the cabin crew came in to stop the whole episode and a police veteran or off-duty policeman helped them to get through the situation. A spokesperson for the airlines said that the situation was completely brought under control and nobody was harmed during the operations of stopping the man from opening the exit gate.
A passenger who was traveling along with the unruly passenger spoke to one of the media houses. And, the co-passenger claimed that the traveler was too attached or concerned about opening the door that he was reluctant to move away.
The airline had also reiterated and mentioned before their airplanes’ exit doors are constructed or designed in a way that they wouldn’t open when the flight is operational. Apparently, no person was available to comment on the same update, more information on the same is awaited.
