Leaked charging case photos add to the rumors of an AirPods Pro launch

Apple has launched one fresh, upgraded version of AirPods already this year. However, it now looks like one more upgrade for the company’s earbuds may be on its way post a leaked modified charging case image surfaced on the web.

The case, uploaded to SlashLeaks, is fatter and wider than compared to the original. However, it does not precisely reflect what the iPhone maker is really about to unveil.

It was just a few days ago that a leaked image of a similar-in-appearance charging case surfaced, so it appears that these rumors are gaining some momentum. We may even get to witness new wireless earbuds releasing before this year end.

The new AirPods are expected to be called AirPods 3. However, another name which appears to be making rounds online is AirPods Pro. Well, this would fit with Apple’s Pro naming strategy perfectly that it adopted recently for its iPhone lineup.

The previously released AirPods 2 added the wireless charging mechanism, hands-free ‘Siri’ functionality and faster pairing. And now, with the rumored new AirPods, a couple of more improvements are expected.

It is being said that noise cancelation will be one major feature introduced in Airpods Pro or AirPods 3. This is as per the code observed in one latest iOS beta.

Notably, as per industry insiders, we may get to witness a launch in the coming week.
