Netizens criticize father-in-law for insulting bride

Commenting on the look or insulting is too bad because everyone has their own identity and they’re beautiful in their own selves. A father-in-law has been criticized by netizens and users of Reddit as he insulted the bride at a surprise wedding. According to the post of father-in-law, it was a surprise wedding party.

The man wrote a long post describing how it has been tough for him since the groom and bride married in a surprise wedding party. He explained how his wife often wears a white dress to parties and on normal occasions and since his son didn’t inform them about the wedding, she wore a white dress on their wedding day as well. Apparently, the bride had been blaming her by reiterating that she had intentionally done that (to insult her by wearing white) and the couple has been married for eight months now.

Father-in-law said, “For eight months she has been trying to spin it to make my wife look like some crazed MIL [mother-in-law] who showed up in a wedding dress. She had a wedding picture on social media and when someone commented who wore white, she wrote back ‘that’s my mother in law, she doesn’t like me’ and a laughing emoji. My wife called her out on it and she played the victim and whined about my wife trying to upstage her. She has made a couple of snide comments, and told people who weren’t at the wedding that it was intentional.”

As per the post, the man said that he couldn’t control and snapped back at her. The post continued, “I snapped at her that I am sick of hearing about the white dress and that maybe if she put more effort into her own appearance she would have been a beautiful bride and people wouldn’t be looking at her MIL. She stormed off and my son was mad. He actually said his mom has great self-esteem (she doesn’t) so we should take the high road.”

The man is being trolled for insulting the appearance.
