Well, in a world where people are hardly caring about each other, some samaritans are out there to render helping hands to others. Apparently, the good deed comes to you in a certain way which you call a blessing. In a similar incident, a Texas woman is trying to raise money for a man who saved the life of her kid.
Samantha Whiting has created a GoFundMe campaign in the name “A hero named Kevin” for Kevin Cozzi, who had rescued her 10-year-old daughter who was drowning in the water and no help could be seen during that time. Samantha is raising funds to provide Kevin and his fiance a memorable wedding and honeymoon destination as she thinks this is just a way to offer a token of gratitude to the human hero.
Nathalie Granda also wrote about the story on Twitter which read, “HERO: A Texas family is wanting to give back to the Merced man they say saved their 10 years old’s life. Haylee Whiting was swimming with her family in Monterey when she was caught in a riptide. Kevin Cozzi sprang into action. The story you’ll only see on Action News at 11.”
Meanwhile, Samantha wrote describing the campaign, “I swam as hard as I could to get [her] but underestimated the current, I had her on my back but it was slowly taking both of us down. If it wasn’t for him risking his life in such a selfless act I would have lost not only my own life but my baby girl.”
Samantha has been actively raising money for the cause and the netizens have even shown interest in the incident by paying their sum for the campaign so that Kevin’s marriage could get through well.
