Kindness never ceases to fade away and it returns to you in many possible ways. Well, in one of the incidents, an anonymous has paid for the cakes of various kids in an honor that she paid to her late son. The netizens have been praising her good deed and blessing her with all the happiness she deserves and more.
A woman named Renee Smith went to Borrelli’s bakery in Coventry to pick her order for her kid’s birthday cake but, to her shock, she found out that the bill was already paid by a woman who kept her identity as a secret or who didn’t want to disclose her identity. Apparently, it was not the single cake because Renee learned that the unknown woman had already paid the price for the other two cakes as well.
However, Renee didn’t want to put a stop to it and hence, she decided to pay forward and let people know about the unknown woman’s good deed and benevolence. Smith posted it on her Facebook and on a group as well which then went viral due to the act of kindness. While sharing the post, Smith wrote on her social media account, “I was told a mom paid for all cakes for little boys in memory of her son. I am very touched and please know we were thinking of you today.”
An assistant manager of the bakery was contacted to comment on the same and Liya Harrison (assistant manager) said that she felt bad after knowing the reason behind it. Liya claimed that the woman wanted to spread happiness to the customers but when Liya learned that her son is no more, she felt sad about it.
“She said she lost her son about a year ago. I was sad when she said it because I didn’t know what to say, but when she said she wanted to pay and help another family, that made me happy,” Harrison added.
