Venmo Challenge has been so prevalent in the social media platforms these days that it has fetched money for the needy ones and brought a smile on the face of many restaurant workers (who are working tirelessly during the time of coronavirus).
Venmo Challenge requires people on social media to request money from their followers in the form of a donation and when the donation reaches the possible limit, the account holder goes and gifts it to the service industry workers, as a large form of a tip which would make their day. Earlier, a pizza delivery man was surprised with the same and now, a New Mexico server has received a tip of $1200.
Christi Getz and Jenni Nowlin commenced the game of paying it to the restaurant and service industry workers and server Audrey Pacheco was shocked plus overwhelmed after receiving the huge amount as a tip.
After receiving the tip, Pacheco went on to tears and was hugged by Getz, as per reports. Pacheco also said, “thank you so much” with tears in her eyes.
“I’m extremely grateful. I love my community. I just never thought I would be chosen to receive something like this. It’s been rough lately, so this is just amazing, honestly. I and my daughter are going to have a little fun with it,” the server said while being asked about the whole situation.
Many people have resorted to this challenge and collected a huge amount of cash to be given to the service industry worker. It has been famous since then and many are still pooling their amount of cash which could be donated to the needy ones at a time when help is needed the most!
